Aims:

* To liberate Dalit Women from the clutches of bandage and exploitation. * To educate and motivate women through leadership training camps in order to utilize their potential to create a new society free of discrimination and exploitation. * To Empower dalit women at the micro-level, to develop organised communities with self esteem; security, and human dignity for the landless poor through mobilization of human resources, social awareness, legal aid service and by increasing accessibility of people to govt programmes and poverty eradication. * To facilitate at the Macro level organisation of people for social education and development through solidarity networking, documentation, advocacy lobbying and organising seminars and Rallies, and effectively utilizing the human resources of the organisation, staff training and development programmes at frequent intervals on leadership dynamics.Group Dynamics Community organisation and mind Analysis.

Focus:

For centuries there has been a struggle against caste domination and racial discrimination. Even the growing civilization has not helped in radical changing the social system in the Indian context.Hence, we witness castism and caste conflict even today,caste atrocities and caste barriers still continue and have become part of life and culture. To overcome the situation and to build a castless society is to make of a dream a reality have hence, efforts are made by Integrated Women Development Institute to bring the gap between the socially high class and the dalits the socially discriminated. The Integrated Women Development Institute has been emphasing the right to life in existence,and by forms of Selfhelp Groups,youth groups, sangams and applying constitutional and positive methods for protesting against any exploitation.

Community Organisation:

* Legal aid service * utilisation of govt schemes and loans, self employment programmes, income generating activities and poverty allevation programmes. * Social awareness through cultural programmes. * Development programmes for women and formation of Self Help Groups in the villages. * Mobilising the women in the city slums. * Implementing Low Cost Sanitation programme - by constructing Low Cost Sanitary toilets in each and every house in the villages. * Providing protected drinking water by erecting borewels in the villages and in the rural schools. * Organising school hygiene programmes. * Trying to eradicate manual scavenging by implementing rehabilitation programmes for scavengers.
